Why Opangle exists
Opangle started as a software product — and that product failed. But the failure taught us something specific: small and mid-sized companies don't actually want another HR platform to rent. They want software that fits their payroll rules, sits on their domain, and doesn't bill them more every time they hire. So we rebuilt Opangle around exactly that.
Today Opangle is a custom HR & payroll software studio. We design and build a complete system — payroll, attendance, leave, employee self-service, reporting — around how your company really works, deploy it on your own domain, and hand you the source code. One payment of $1,999. No subscription, no per-seat fees, no lock-in.
Who's behind it
Shaheer Malik is a Dubai-based product designer and developer who has shipped 75+ projects for SaaS and AI startups across the US, Europe, and the Middle East. His background is in designing and building real, production interfaces — booking platforms, AI apps, brand systems — which is exactly the discipline a payroll system demands: precise rules, clean data, and software people actually trust to run every month.
That combination — a designer's eye and a developer's rigor, applied at a fixed price — is what makes the flat-fee model work. You get custom-fit software without the agency invoice, because the process is productized, not the product.
We don't sell seats. We build the software, hand you the keys, and step away.
How we work
- Discovery first. One call to map your pay rules, leave policy, approvals, and must-haves — turned into a written spec you approve before we build.
- Custom, not templated. Your system is built for your workflows and your region's payroll logic, not configured out of a fixed product.
- You own everything. Source code, database, and deployment are handed over at launch. Any developer can maintain or extend it after us.
- Fixed price, in writing. $1,999, with a spec-match guarantee. No hourly meters, no surprise line items.
